Queen Beach Resort

Apartment rental website in Nin, Croatia

Queen Beach Resort rents holiday apartments 40 m from a sandy beach in Nin, on the Croatian coast. I designed their website, mainly to get guests booking directly with the resort.

Overview

The site is about the apartments and about Nin itself, an old town on a small island in a lagoon. The copy recommends the apartments to families with kids and young couples.

Guests get in touch through an inquiry form. The gold Send inquiry button is in the header and on every rate card in the price list.

The work

First the homepage, top to bottom, then the price list and inquiry form.

The apartments

The live cam, location, social links and Hr / De / En language switch go in a dark bar above the header, so the header only needs the logo, the menu and Send inquiry.

The apartments come after the welcome text and photo slider, with four interior photos and an Amenities button. Thin gold icons mark the distances. A restaurant is 20 m away, Zadar and its airport 17 km.

The town of Nin

Further down, the page turns to Nin. Cultural and natural heritage flank a gold crest with Glagolitic lettering below it. The town and its healing mud follow, with text and photo swapping sides.

A dark band breaks up the beige for three badges. Two are Nin's, for its EDEN award and its European Walled Towns membership. The third is the resort's TripAdvisor recommendation.

Price list and inquiry form

Every period gets a card with its dates and the nightly price in kuna and euro, plus a Send inquiry button. The small print goes underneath, including the 30% deposit and the general terms as a PDF.

The form opens in a window over the dimmed price list. Guests pick their dates on two calendars and say how many adults and children are coming. I put the amenities and booking terms in a column next to the form, so guests can check them while they fill it in.
