All-in-One Product Analytics

Analytics MVP for iGaming

I designed an MVP for a white-label iGaming site. It puts web and product analytics, heatmaps, session replay, A/B tests and surveys in one tool, for a deeper read on player behavior and site traffic.

Overview

Every tracked button, input and banner on the site sends a named event. The dashboard shows traffic and active users, plus funnels built from those events. A toolbar draws heatmaps over the site's pages.

The work

The dashboard I set up for this site, then the tracking and A/B test code.

Traffic and registration dashboard

Traffic comes first, with visitors, sessions, bounce rate and a few more. Under that are daily and weekly active users, then the registration funnels.

I tracked registration twice. One funnel has a step per form field, starting with name, surname, email, phone and password. The other just follows the three step buttons. Every step shows how many people kept going and how many dropped off.

Event tracking and A/B test code

Tracking calls are grouped by page and section. There's navigation, the home page banner and buttons, a product page with related products, and the login form. Names start with a short page prefix, like LP Email Input. The registration funnel steps on the dashboard use the same pattern, as in RP Name Input.

I set up two A/B tests with feature flags. One is on the login form button and the other on the home page buttons. Each script reads its flag and shows the control or the variant.
